Install a compatible framework and add plugins without disrupting your live server.

Where to make these changes in the Konnect panel

Open the server from the Arix-themed Pterodactyl server list. Use Console for commands and errors, Files for configuration and uploads, Backups before risky changes, Schedules for automation, Users for delegated access, and Settings for SFTP details. Stop the server before replacing active save or database files, then watch Console during the next startup.

All game servers share Pterodactyl’s core management tools; game-specific files and commands differ.

Install a plugin framework

Rust plugins require a compatible framework. Select the supported framework from the server installer and allow it to finish before adding plugin files.

Add and verify plugins

  1. Stop the server and create a backup.
  2. Upload plugin files to the framework plugins directory.
  3. Start the server and watch the console for compile errors.
  4. Review the generated configuration before opening the server to players.
