Please read these terms carefully
By ordering a service from Konnect Hosting, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, ordering, accessing, or using a Konnect Hosting service, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any service-specific terms shown during checkout. “Konnect Hosting,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the service provider; “customer,” “you,” and “your” refer to the account holder and anyone the account holder authorizes to use the service.
You confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. If you order for a company, community, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it current. You are responsible for protecting your password, API credentials, two-factor authentication methods, and other access credentials, as well as all activity performed through your account or by subusers you authorize.
Notify Konnect Hosting promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may temporarily restrict access or require verification when reasonably necessary to protect an account, our platform, other customers, or the public.
3-day money-back guarantee
The initial purchase of a new service is covered by a 3-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, contact Konnect Hosting through the billing portal within 72 hours of the original purchase. Renewals, account credit, domain registrations, licenses, add-ons already delivered, custom work, and usage-based charges are not new-service purchases and are not covered unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise at checkout.
After the 3-day period, refunds are issued only at our discretion or when required by law. Services terminated for fraud, abuse, prohibited activity, or another material violation of these terms are not eligible for a refund. Before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback, contact us so we can investigate. We may suspend the affected account while a dispute is pending and may recover chargeback fees or unpaid amounts where permitted by law.
Billing, renewals, and cancellation
Unless an order states otherwise, services renew for successive billing periods until cancelled. By enabling automatic payment, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method on file for recurring fees, applicable taxes, and approved add-ons. You remain responsible for invoices even if an automatic payment fails.
An invoice is generated seven days before a service is due. To prevent renewal, submit a cancellation request through the billing portal before the next due date. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not itself refund the current billing period.
If payment is not received by the due date, the service may be suspended.
If the invoice remains unpaid for seven days after suspension, the service and its data will be permanently deleted.
Customers may request a payment extension of up to three days. Payment must be made by the end of the extension or the service will be terminated. An extension does not change the following month’s billing date.
Resources, bandwidth, and fair use
“Unlimited” or “unmetered” resources are subject to reasonable use consistent with the service purchased. They do not permit activity that degrades the platform, circumvents plan limits, monopolizes shared capacity, stores unrelated archival data, or materially interferes with other customers.
We may investigate unusual consumption and ask you to reduce usage, remove unrelated data, upgrade, or move to a more suitable service. When immediate action is reasonably necessary for security or platform stability, we may throttle, isolate, or suspend the affected service. We will provide notice when practical.
Copyright and abuse claims
Any copyright or abuse complaint we receive will be forwarded to the responsible client. The client has up to 24 hours to respond. If no response is received, the service will be suspended until the matter is resolved.
Continued hosting of copyrighted or abusive material may result in service termination without a refund.
Service level agreement
We aim to provide 99.9% uptime. For an unexpected outage, compensation consists of a 5% discount on the next bill plus credited service time. Twelve hours of downtime is credited as one day.
Planned maintenance is excluded from this commitment when notice is posted in advance.
Files and backups
Konnect Hosting is not responsible for missing, corrupted, or deleted files. Customers are responsible for maintaining recoverable copies of their data. The panel may let customers create or schedule backups, but Konnect Hosting does not configure, verify, or guarantee those backups automatically.
Installation time
We aim to install services within 24 hours during operating hours, Sunday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. If a service is not installed within 24 hours, four days of service will be added at no charge.
Acceptable use policy
You may not modify a server beyond its original specifications, access files outside your assigned home directory, or use a service to crash or spam other systems.
The following content and activities are prohibited:
- Spamming or mass email
- Denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks
- Malware, viruses, or backdoors
- Hacking or phishing
- Pornographic material
- Copyrighted material without authorization
- Hate speech, fascist content, or homophobic content
- Anything illegal in the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, or another country in which we operate
You may not tamper with, delete, or edit another customer’s service without permission. Violations may result in blacklisting from Konnect Hosting.
Customer content and third-party software
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Konnect Hosting a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, back up, scan, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and support the service or comply with law.
You are solely responsible for the legality, integrity, licensing, configuration, and security of your content and software. Do not upload stolen, pirated, cracked, malicious, or otherwise unauthorized material. You must comply with all applicable third-party licenses and platform rules, including the Minecraft End User License Agreement when operating a Minecraft server.
Third-party software, mods, plugins, add-ons, and integrations are provided or used subject to their own terms. Konnect Hosting does not warrant third-party compatibility, availability, or security and may remove an integration when needed to protect the platform.
Community and support conduct
Support staff and community members must be treated respectfully. Spam, harassment, threats, impersonation, doxxing, discriminatory abuse, or attempts to disrupt support or community channels may result in warnings, channel restrictions, removal from those channels, or account action depending on severity.
Advertising competing hosting services in Konnect Hosting-operated channels is prohibited unless we give written permission. You may promote your own hosted game community only in channels designated for that purpose.
Disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity
Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Konnect Hosting disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that every service, third-party integration, network route, or customer configuration will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Konnect Hosting will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost revenue, loss of goodwill, or loss or corruption of data. Our aggregate liability arising from an affected service will not exceed the fees you paid for that service during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Konnect Hosting and its personnel from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the services, your violation of law or third-party rights, or your material breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by Konnect Hosting’s own unlawful conduct.
Termination and changes
We may suspend or terminate a service for nonpayment, fraud, a material breach of these terms, a security emergency, excessive resource abuse, legal or regulatory requirements, or conduct that creates a material risk to Konnect Hosting, our providers, customers, or the public. When practical and appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure the issue.
Upon cancellation or termination, access to the service and its data may end immediately. You are responsible for exporting required data before the effective termination date. Refund eligibility is governed by the refund section above and applicable law.
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, providers, security practices, or legal obligations. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date and, when practical, communicated through the account or billing contact. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
General provisions
Konnect Hosting is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including upstream network or power failures, natural disasters, labor disputes, war, civil unrest, government action, widespread internet disruption, or attacks that cannot reasonably be prevented.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your account or this agreement without our written consent; we may assign this agreement as part of a merger, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the business or relevant assets.
These terms, the Privacy Policy, service-specific terms, and the order details form the entire agreement concerning the service and replace prior discussions about that service. Headings are for convenience only. Electronic notices sent to your account email or posted in the billing portal satisfy notice requirements where permitted by law.
Questions about these terms or legal notices should be submitted through the Konnect Hosting billing portal.
