It all began in December 2016. Our founder, Blake, was searching for a reliable and affordable server hosting provider to host a Garry’s Mod server for himself and his friends. However, every provider he tried was either too expensive or failed to meet his standards for quality. Frustrated by his experiences, Blake decided to create his own hosting service, one that combined affordability, reliability, and performance without the downsides he had encountered. When he shared the idea with his friends, they were fully on board, and planning began. Blake dove into researching data centers, server requirements, software solutions, website development, and more. After months of preparation and hard work, he launched the first prototype of the service. Initially, the service supported only Garry’s Mod and relied on FTP/SSH-based management. As demand grew, so did the service. We upgraded to professional tools like TCAdmin and WHMCS, enhancing the experience for our users. Today, Konnect Hosting continues to live by its founding principle: For Gamers, By Gamers. It’s not just a slogan—it’s who we are.
