Move your save to a Konnect server running a compatible game version, server software, and mod setup. These steps use manual file transfers.
Prepare the move
- Stop the old server normally so it finishes saving. Download its complete active world and player files. Keep an untouched copy.
- Record the game version, loader, mods, world name, configuration, and Startup values. Export any separate database used by your plugins or game.
- Set up matching software on the Konnect server. Run it once if the game needs to create its folders, then stop and back up the destination.
Upload and test
- Use SFTP for complete folders, or Files for individual files. Follow the save paths in your game’s guide. Check folder nesting and filename capitalization.
- Copy the required save and settings, rather than another host’s binaries or startup scripts. Use the Konnect server’s assigned address and ports.
- Start the server and check Console. Join with an existing player and check the world, inventory, permissions, and mods.
- Give players the new address after testing. Keep the old server stopped so progress does not split between two saves. Retain your original download.
Co-op saves, different platforms, or a changed mod loader may need a separate conversion. Use the relevant game guide before moving them.
Use the Minecraft Java world guide or the Palworld dedicated-save guide for their specific layouts. See SFTP instructions for transferring folders and compare Konnect game server plans.
The transfer controls follow Pterodactyl file management. Save compatibility and locations must follow the game-specific instructions linked above.
