Holdfast admin access uses a server admin password. Set it in the game panel, then log in through Holdfast’s in-game F1 console.
Set the admin password
- Open your Holdfast server and select Startup.
- Find Admin Password and enter a password you will share only with trusted admins. Keep it different from the password players use to join.
- Restart the server to apply the change.
If your server does not have that field, check Config Name in Startup. Open its file under Files > holdfastnaw-dedicated/configs, then set server_admin_password YourPassword. Remove a leading # from that line if present, save and restart. Use the Startup field when it manages this value.
Log in through Holdfast
- Join your server and press F1 to open the console.
- Enter rc login followed by a space and your admin password. Use the password’s exact capitalization.
- Enter rc help to see the available server commands.
- If the login message is hidden, close and reopen the F1 console.
Log in again whenever you reconnect. You do not need to log in again just because the map changes. These commands belong in the game’s F1 console, not the panel’s Console.
