Palworld can host players from Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac together. The CrossplayPlatforms setting decides which platforms your server accepts.
Change the allowed platforms
- Open your Palworld server in the Konnect game panel and stop it. Wait until the panel shows it is offline.
- Open Files, then Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini. A Windows or Proton server uses WindowsServer instead.
- Find CrossplayPlatforms inside the OptionSettings line. Set it to CrossplayPlatforms=(Steam,Xbox,PS5,Mac). If the entry is missing, add it inside that same settings line.
- Leave the other values, commas and outer parentheses in place. Save the file and start the server.
If Startup has a newer Crossplay Platforms field, use that instead. Enter Steam,Xbox,PS5,Mac without parentheses. The older Connection Platform field uses AllowConnectPlatform, which Pocketpair no longer supports.
Let console players find the server
Xbox and PS5 players need a community server that appears in the in-game browser. If your server is missing from the list, contact Konnect support to check its community-server setup.
- Update the server and each player’s game to compatible versions.
- Find the server in the Community Server list and join. Enter the server password if you set one.
- Test a connection from each platform you want to allow. If one cannot join, reopen the settings file and check the platform list.
You can also change your Palworld server name and join password.
