How to Use Admin Commands on Your Palworld Server

Log in as a Palworld admin, save the world, send player messages and manage players with the in-game chat commands.

Palworld’s admin commands run through in-game chat. Set an admin password first, then log in from your own game account.

Log in as an admin

  1. Open Startup on your Palworld server and set Admin Password. Keep it different from the join password.
  2. Restart the server, join it and press Enter to open chat.
  3. Enter /AdminPassword followed by a space and your admin password. Do not include angle brackets.
  4. Enter /Info to check the server information or /ShowPlayers to list connected players.

Common commands

/Save saves the world. /Broadcast Server restart in five minutes sends a message to everyone.

/KickPlayer STEAMID removes a player from the current session. /BanPlayer STEAMID bans them, and /UnBanPlayer STEAMID removes the ban. Replace STEAMID with the player’s ID. Keep the exact command spelling.

For supported Steam players, /ShowPlayers helps you check the ID before acting. Pocketpair documents these moderation commands with SteamID arguments. Do not guess an Xbox or PS5 player’s ID from their display name; ask support if you cannot identify the correct argument.

Shut down with a warning

Use /Shutdown 60 Server restarting to warn players and shut down after 60 seconds. This stops the game server; use Start in the panel to bring it back online. Avoid /DoExit for routine restarts because it forces the server to stop.

For a different name or private join password, see the Palworld name and password guide.
