Schedules runs timed power actions, game commands, or backups. Available actions depend on your permissions and backup allowance.
Schedule a daily restart
- Open Schedules > Create Schedule and enter a name.
- For a daily 4 AM run, use Minute 0, Hour 4, and * for Day of Month, Month, and Day of Week. Cron uses the game panel’s configured timezone.
- Open the schedule and add a Power Action task. Choose restart and a time offset of 0.
- Enable the schedule. With Only When Server Is Online selected, an offline or stopping server skips it.
- Check Next Run to confirm the schedule is set for the time you want. The displayed time may use your device’s timezone. The client portal timezone setting does not change the game panel’s schedule. Ask support if the next run is not the time you expect.
- Use Run Now when a restart will not interrupt your players. Check Console and confirm the restart happened. Last Run alone does not prove success; it can update after failed or skipped runs.
Schedule commands or backups
A Command task sends the game command you enter. Test a command manually first and use the syntax for that game. A Backup task creates a file backup within your allowance.
A time offset is a delay, not a check that an earlier save or backup finished. Do not assume a short stop, backup, and start sequence creates a consistent backup. For an important move or update, use the stopped-server backup procedure.
Change a schedule
Use Edit to change the time or disable the schedule. Edit its tasks to change actions. Avoid overlapping restarts. If a task does not happen, check Console, online-only behavior, permissions, and the command or backup allowance.
