Konnect Hosting was founded in December 2016 with a simple goal: create the kind of hosting service we wished existed.
Like many gamers, our founder, Blake, wanted a reliable, affordable place to host a Garry's Mod server for friends. Instead, he found a market filled with overpriced services, inconsistent performance, and frustrating customer experiences. Rather than settling, he decided to build something better.
What started as a personal project quickly became a passion. Countless hours were spent researching enterprise hardware, data center infrastructure, networking, server management, and web development to create a hosting platform focused on performance, reliability, and value. With the support of close friends, Konnect Hosting launched its first prototype, initially offering Garry's Mod servers managed through FTP and SSH.
As our community grew, so did our platform. We invested in professional solutions such as TCAdmin and WHMCS, allowing us to provide faster deployments, easier server management, and a smoother overall customer experience. While our infrastructure has evolved over the years, our philosophy has remained exactly the same.

We host our servers primarily out of Dallas, Texas, due to it being a premier hub for data centers, offering excellent connectivity and low-latency access to major markets across North America. Its central location ensures faster data delivery and optimized performance, no matter where your customers are located. With reliable infrastructure, a stable power grid, and access to top-tier network providers, hosting your servers in Dallas means exceptional performance and dependability.
Our Colocation provider, Prime Data Centers offers DDoS protection by implementing robust network security measures within their data center infrastructure, including advanced firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and dedicated DDoS mitigation services to detect and filter malicious traffic, safeguarding customer applications and services from Distributed Denial of Service attacks; essentially making their data centers less vulnerable to large-scale cyber attacks targeting their hosted clients.
